A Lunch That Turned Into a Company
Aslan began with a chance connection on LinkedIn. Tim Harrison and Ted McClure, who runs a commercial real estate firm, agreed to meet for lunch. At the end of it, Ted asked for help with his website. He had already shopped the work around and been quoted a serious price and a long wait - just to freshen up what he had.
We rebuilt it fast, at a much more reasonable price. Ted got a site he was proud of; we got our first client and a lesson we never forgot: most businesses aren't asking for a moonshot. They're asking for competent work, done quickly, at a price that makes sense.
The rest was history. That first project became the pattern for everything since - listen first, build fast, charge what the work is worth, and hand over the keys.
About the Founder
Tim has been writing code since he was a kid. Before Aslan, he spent years working across the country selling, implementing, and servicing automation projects - including software - inside enterprise operations. Aslan is that experience pointed at small and mid-size businesses: enterprise-grade systems, without the enterprise price tag or the enterprise timeline.
